Logistics Assistant

(UN Salary Scale GS-4)




Duty Station: Dili

Duration: Starting date 15th March 2016, initially till 31 December 2016, with the possibility of extension.  


R4D is the Government of Timor Leste’s leading national Rural Roads Development and Capacity Building Program, implemented through the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications, with financial assistance from the Australian Government and technical assistance from ILO.


To provide assistance with logistics support functions, R4D intends to recruit a Logistics Assistant. Tasks and responsibilities include the management of the fleet of vehicles and motorbikes, the supervision of the drivers, organizing logistics for seminars and workshops and up-keeping inventories of assets and consumables.


Applicants should have a completed Secondary School education and at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a UN Organization. Good computer application skills, in particular with MS Excel and MS Word, are required.
