Oxfam Timor Leste program is looking for positions for Livelihood Officer

Livelihood Officer



Base in Dili require to travel District

With the support and cooperation of the Program Manager the position will provide support for the Sustainable Livelihoods aspects of the Oxfam Program in Timor-Leste, including: technical and methodological support; monitoring, evaluation and learning, and capacity building for Oxfam staff, partner NGOs, MAF staff, community organizers and leaders within the districts; as well as engaging in advocacy and representation at the national level to relevant stakeholders.  Provide information for regular project and finance reports.


  • Have a background in Sustainable Agriculture and/or Animal Husbandry, with a deep understanding of dry-land agriculture.
  • Experience working with rural communities on sustainable agriculture, with experience of facilitating farmer-to-farmer learning approaches and farmer-based experimentation
  • An experienced facilitator, and trainer, with the ability to develop and document training modules, based upon program experience.
  • Able to work in multi- cultural environments
  • Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia, Tetum and English
