Since 2004, Health Alliance International (HAI) has been working with the government of Timor-Leste to implement programs to strengthen maternal and newborn health services. The overarching goal of the program is to improve health and reduce mortality and morbidity for mothers and their infants in Timor-Leste thus contributing to the MDG goals four and five. HAI supports a variety of activities in the districts of Liquica, Aileu, Manufahi, Ainaro, and Dili.
The Office Manager is responsible for administrative management of a USAID/ AusAid-funded program in Timor-Leste. Duties include:
- Human Resources- contracts, job descriptions, time-sheets
- Smooth running of the office and special events
- Management of admin Assistant and support staff
- Administrative reports
- Liaison with the Head Office in Seattle USA
- Administrative liaising with MoH

This position is full-time. Timorese national preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex functions
Fiscal, office, and personnel supervision/management experience
Ability to use computer technology and internet, excel spreadsheets
Good interpersonal skills
Reasonable fluency in reading, writing and speaking English; fluency in Indonesian or Tetun (preferably both).
